Wow, "talentless fag". Harsh words….but a possible acurate assessment. He does appear to be a bit effeminant. Vast difference from the testosterone slinging frontmen of the SN members previous bands. Not to attack Lucas personally, but Dilana is more masculine….and talented for that matter. I think Magni or Toby would have been much better choices for these guys if they really wanted a frontman. Luke is probably great on the Toronto bar scene but I don't thimk he can carry these guys……and make no mistake, he WILL need to carry them. At least Magni's maturity would have off set Tommy Lee's immense immaturity. Tommy, your 43 yrs old and a parent. It's cool to enjoy rock music and perform….but act like your mature enough to handle life. Jason Newstead is the only real talent here and at least he acts his age.

THE SHOW ENDING WAS KNOWN FROM THE BEGINNING. AS WITH EVERY ASPECT OF MODERN AMERICAN LIFE, IT WAS DRIVEN BY MONEY. WHEATHER THEY TOUR, MAKE A RECORD, OR DO ANYTHING AT ALL IS NOT A CONCERN. THE REASON THE SHOW FINISHED THE SUMMER WAS ALL THE COMMERCIALS THAT PAYED MONEY TO BE ON. ANY MONEY MADE AFTER IS CAKE. AT FIRST I WAS REALLY PISSED THAT LUKASS WON…. UNTIL I HEARD THE SONG. A 29 YEAR OLD PUNK WHO LOOKS LIKE HE'S HAVING A SEIZURE ON STAGE IN FRONT OF GUYS WHO ONCE UPON A TIME, WHERE GOOD(NOT GREAT) MUSICIANS.NOW THEY ARE REDUCED TO THREE CORD PROGRESSIONS, TWO NOTES ON BASE, AND A DRUMMER WHO HAS TO TRY TO GET THEM TO ALL TAP THEIR FEET AT THE SAME TIME. ILL PASS ON SUPERNOVA. ILL PAY TO HERE DILANA.MOST MUSIC TODAY JUST PLAIN SUCKS. REMEMBER THE 80'S? cant believe they chose Lukas who just screams into the mike and can't understand a word he sings.Why not Dilana who is a real star and amazing singer the whole package.New Janis Joplin but better.Dinlana is such an awesome talent and I would go to a concert with her in it.Never Lukas

its bad enough we have sept 11 to mourn, now all true rock fans have sept 13 too. in the field of rock+roll, lukas is a heaping steamer.at least we discovered the other 3 from it. on amak's note, i was a gnr fan when i was younger, and can't find his name in any old album covers, and for the life of me don't remember him. was he involved in the crappy years with sphaghetti incident or what?

Wow, the guy from last night sure is tough with the F-bombs and the final goodnight. No offense, but the whole "rockstar" deal was fixed as it was last season with INXS. If you think for a moment that JD and Lukas were not chosen by the bands prior to the show you may be a bit naive. What "rockstar" was…was a showcase of some great talent and I believe that most of the contestants this season and last are better of on their own. While I enjoyed G-n-R, Crue and Metallica a great deal none of these guys were the catalyst of their original band and Supernova may be a "Super Flop". Hell, Ryan and Magni have a hell of a lot more talent than anyone of those guys (with exception of Navarro. he is very talented and very intelligent).

dave is so right, pukass represents everything that sucks about the modern rock scene. i had my hopes up that dilana or even the other 2 would win, but my former heros have fallen and i can't stomach listening to him vomit one more tune. however, i went to amazon and dilana has an album being released the 19'th. i'll be buying it.

Lukas's singing is vaguely reminiscent of a London dungeon torture victim choking on his own vomit. Contrary to popular belief (primarily of 14-year-old girls?) his wavering voice is neither emotional nor vibrato; it's his inability to hit notes spot-on. This talentless douche-bag has been selected purely on his looks and image, and he embodies all that is sh*t about modern rock music.

Lukas was a good choice in some degree… His voice is amazing but some of the time I don't see it fitting in with the guys but maybe the band see what we don't about him..I could have seen Dilana as lead and I see her doing amazing on her own…but on the other hand I think they made a good choice and the bad will do awsome!
