Jordin is the reason why people who can't sing for their life shouldn't even breath in the direction of the auditions. She is so humble which makes her even more talented because she does not flaunt what she has more than anyone else. My dad and I were having this argument about how people should get what they want if they "believe" they can, and if the "try". You have to have at least some talent to get you through, just like Jordin did. She really deserves it.

this is a lame pathetic exploitation of children ; perhaps kids will watch this…I doubt adults will. [I'd hate to be a kid on this show — they are going to get teased and ridiculed at school in the fall.] Don't worry about Lord of the Flies comparisons — most Americans have never heard of the book. But watch it move up in the amazon rankings!

Last night there was an "ice cream social" event for preschool. I took the kids, Kerry stayed home.

At one point when they were getting a little too wound up, this came out of my mouth:

"Listen, I didn't take you out here just to have you scream. I took you here, well, to have ice cream."

Get it? you scream? ice cream? Ah, ferget it.

Is that [missing second stanza] the one about taking a leap of faith? I listened to the finale again and Jordin does not sing that. i'm wondering if the original version was edited by american idol? I'm not surprised. I haven't listened to the original as sung by the guy that wrote it,. What you see here is a transcription of what was sung on tv.
